    GOLF SPECIFIC FUNCTIONAL SCREENING TEST

Our golf specific 12-point functional screening process enables us to determine how your body is working throughout your golf swing. This program evaluates all areas of the body and all specific movement patterns. For years, these functional screens have been used only with Titleist Tour Players and are now available to the public. Once limitations are diagnosed they are correlated with the findings from the 2-D video analysis to identify not only where your body breaks down throughout the swing, but why. This physical screen is incredibly important because it helps develop a workout program that will address what your body needs in order to play better golf.

    CUSTOMIZED GOLF EXERCISE PROGRAM PRESCRIPTION

Combining the information from your physical limitation analysis and your functional movement screen enables a prescribed program that is customized to your specific needs. Proprietary workout builder software, developed by Titleist, gives us the ability to provide you with a workout that’s easy to administer, simple to follow, and produces the maximum results in the most efficient manner. Upon beginning your program you will have access to your workout, the ability to view pictures and video of all your exercises, chart your progress, and even set email workout reminders. Upon completion of the first three weeks you will be encouraged to be re-tested in order to enable us to make the proper adjustments to your workout program.

Today most tour players are working out before they hit the course. This is a great way to enhance your golfing experience, reduce your chance of injury, and maximize your playing ability.

    ATHLETIC TRAINING

Pivotal Performance consistently strives to exceed client’s expectations. Knowing that every person is different, an individualized approach is imperative. Training is about much more than counting reps or yelling at someone to work harder, but more about connecting with people, empowering them, keeping them motivated, and working out at an effective level to achieve their goals.

    FUNCTIONAL FITNESS WORKOUT PROGRAMS

Pivotal Performance emphasizes the importance of functional training. Conventional weight training works on isolation of specific muscle groups, rather than integrating different muscle groups to work simultaneously. This is why at Pivotal Performance, your program will work on exercises that will integrate and teach the entire body to work together, rather than independently. This style of workout produces a body that will be strong, flexible, and athletic.

    FLEXIBILITY PROGRAMS

Stretching is a frequently overlooked component of many conditioning programs. Flexibility exercises are designed to elongate the soft tissues of the body. Stretching has several benefits, including: injury prevention, enhanced performance, improved joint range of motion, and decreased muscle soreness after strenuous exercise. Static, dynamic, and functional stretches will be customized to your specific needs, sport specificity and postural needs.

    GOLF EVALUATION & FITNESS PROGRAM

The evaluation process will be conducted by a TPI Certified and licensed certified athletic trainer (ATC, LAT). Golf specific physical screens, as used for PGA and LPGA touring professionals, will be made available to the amateur golfer.

Accelerated results through TPI Instructor monitored training sessions available at Pivotal Performance. You will receive a customized print out of your evaluation results plus your golf specific fitness program. Your TPI password gives you access to your own web page built by your instructor, which allows for constant monitoring of your golf fitness program.
